Depending on where you want to start, either of these addresses will do. The first takes you to an attractive introductory page. 
This is a Québécois site, centred around the story of a prince who needs to learn to read and write. You help him by showing him how to do things through playing games. 

It is possible to take part in different activities through joining the Prince’s club. This allows users to write and read stories. 
Stimulate your imagination for creative writing!

This youth magazine can be used for all sorts of activities. There are lots already available to take part in. 

There is a banque de données in which you will find:
Chronique
This is updated regularly, but currently holds a road safety quiz which can be answered on-line and will be corrected, giving advice. 
The articles are short and interesting and usually about something that is currently in the news, one example is a discussion of the millennium. There are archives which can be accessed for different subject matter.

Dossier 
This is currently an article about young people in Rwanda. Again, there are archives that can be accessed to get articles that may be relevant to different topics being studied in school. 

Question & Sommaire
Each month there is a sondage on the web. People can read the question and give their answer in the Question section and can see their answers, if chosen in the sommaire. There are two options here, either to write something yourself, or to click the box that corresponds closely to their response.

Here's a good site for Formula One fans. You can find out the news of the season so far, and (by clicking on "circuits") you can send a F1 car around any of the circuits! Lots of interactive news and info about the drivers, races and courses

Le foot!

Adopte une équipe de foot français!

Would you like to adopt a French football team and follow its fortunes as the season goes on?  You can:

1.  Choose a team

2.   Look at the official web-site

3.   Fill in the I.D. card for the team. You could first copy and paste this into Word,  then print (bigger if you like!).

4.   Keep a record of everything that happens during the season (results, progress up or down the league, cup matches, European competitions, transfers etc.).  A chart is provided to help you.  Again, copy and paste this into Word,  then print an enlarged version.

5.   E-mail someone at the club – a player, the manager, a fan.

6.   Make a list of any useful words / phrases you find as you follow the team

7.   Impress your French teacher by showing him or her everything you’ve found at the end of the season or by trying to include some of the words you’ve learnt in your written and spoken French!!
